What is a farm without cats...?
But even with the cats around the chickens seem to have established co-living with big, black mice. The mice are that used to our daily visits that they just stay where they are at that moment, watching us curiously with their black eyes.
Maybe the cats consider these mice too big or too friendly? By the number of tails the cats deliver on our doormat as a sign of affection you can tell that they are good hunters, to a certain extend doing well their task.
Officially three cats are living with us (and working for us!) but at dinner time other three present themselves, awaiting the cans to be openend. Two cans, no more, otherwise we will soon have these big, black mice dancing on the table!
